We are currently recruiting for a Tender Manager on behalf of a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation in the offshore energy sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Aberdeen, offering hybrid working arrangements and excellent career development prospects.

Position Overview

As Tender Manager, you will play a key role in leading the end-to-end tendering process for complex offshore projects across subsea engineering, oil & gas, and ROV operations. This role demands a commercially astute professional with strong technical acumen and a collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full tender lifecycle from opportunity identification through to bid submission and contract award.

  • Coordinate input from technical, commercial, legal, and operational departments to produce high-quality, compliant, and competitive tender responses.

  • Develop pricing strategies and manage associated risks to ensure commercially sound submissions.

  • Liaise with clients to clarify tender requirements and present proposals in a professional manner.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform bid strategies.

  • Maintain and update tender documentation, ensuring continuous improvement of tendering processes.

  • Support business development and sales teams with pre-tender activities and proposal development.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a tender management or similar commercial role within the offshore energy, oil & gas, or subsea engineering sectors.

  • Strong understanding of ROV operations and offshore project delivery.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex bids simultaneously.

  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant tendering/project tools.
